Introductions and what to expect at Minor at Heart

I'm a writer and editor based in Brooklyn, New York (since 2006, after moving from outside of Philadelphia, PA). I covered new music for years for a number of magazines, alt weeklies, and online publications, but in recent years, I've shifted my writing focus toward the comics medium. I'm writing critically about comics and graphic novels for a handful of editors, and I'll be posting short pieces on comics — new and old — here at Minor at Heart.I'll write about what I'm reading in Recent Reads, but as I spend a lot of time on the Web, I'll also post loads of links to other worthwhile pieces of comics, film/TV, and music criticism.
