Acid rock, redux

A set of resuscitated underground acid rock via the busy archivists at Numero Group features neon-streaked, psychedelic artwork from illustrator and comics artist Benjamin Marra.

Acid Nightmares is the latest entry in The Numero Group's ongoing Wayfaring Strangers series, a rich string of compilations from the Chicago, IL-based archival record label that has unearthed folk music, country obscurities, and more nuggets otherwise lost to private press hounds who stalk online secondhand vinyl marketplaces all day long.

More Benjamin Marra illustrations for Numero Group's Acid Nightmares compliation

Marra's sinister visuals must've been a shoo-in for the two-LP set's fuzz-rimmed hell-raisers. More records here, and more Marra here
